Saina Nehwal 

Saina Nahwal is one of the popular Indian Badminton Players. She is the most talented female Badminton Player in India. Saina Nehwal is one of the best players in World Badminton. One of her achievement is the first women to have entered the Quarter Final Round of Olympic Badminton Games from India.

Introduction to Badminton:

Saina Nehwal was born on March 17^th in 1990 at Hisar, Haryana.  Her Parents father Dr.Harvir Sing and mother Usha Rani also Badminton champions in Haryana. Dr, Harvir Sing a scientist at the Directorate of Oilseeds Research, Hyderabad .He encouraged her to the game of Badminton. In December 1998, Saina start her training under Coach Nani Prasad at the Lal Bahadur Stadium in Hyderabad as a summer trainee. Further Saina Nehwal trained under S.M Arif, who is Dronacharya Award winning Badminton Coach. And now is getting Coaching from Pullela Gopichand’s Academy of Badminton at Hyderabad.  

National Level:

• Saina nehwal entered into the National Junior Champion in the year 2004, and 2005 she win the Title.
•  In 2005 National Senior Championship she was the runner.
• IN 2005 Sania won the All India Jr. Ranking Tournaments at Chennai, Cochin, Bangalore and Pune
• She won the Titles in 2006,2007
• She was the winner at the National Games held at Guwahati.  

International Level:

• Saina Nehwal is the fist Indian women to select the quarter finals at the Olympic Games.
• In 2003 Saina Nehwal made her International Debut at the India Satellite tournament where she reached the top-16 round.
• In 2003 she won the Junior Czech Open tournament.
• In 2004 she reached the Quarter Final at the Cheers Asian Satellite tournament at Singapore.
• In 2005 she won her first international success at the India Satellite tournament.
• Saina Nehwal also claimed the Bingo Bonanza Philippines Open title in the year 2006.
• In 2007 she played at the All England Open and select for Pre-Quarter Final round, where she lost to World No. 3 player from China.
• In 2007 she reached the Quarter Final round at the Macau Open tournament and the Dutch Open tournament.
•  In 2008 September Sania won the Yonex Chinese Taipei Open tournament.
• In 2008 she reached the Semi final round of the LI NING China Masters Super Series tournament.
• In 2008 she created a history of the sports.
• Saina is the First Indian Women to reach the Quarter Final round of the Badminton event at the Olympic Games.
• In 2009 Saina Nehwal creates a history as the first Indian to win a Super Series tournament, Indonesia Open.
• In 2010 Saina Nehwal won her second Career Super series title.
• In 2010   she wins the Indonesia Open tornament.

 Sabitha Indra Reddy – First Woman Home Minister of Andhra Pradesh

Sabita Indra Reddy is the first woman Home Minister for the Andhra  Pradesh State. Sabitha Indra reddy is wife of late former home minister Sri P.Indra Reddy. Her husband P.Indra Reddy worked as Home minister in N.T. Rama Rao Cabinet. Sabita Indra Reddy is elected as Member of Legislative Assembly from Maheswaram constituency in General Elections held in 2009.Sabitha Indra reddy is specially appointed as Home Minister based on her earlier performance as Minister for Geology.

Sabitha Indra Reddy was preferred by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Mr.Y.S Rajasekhara Reddy. Earlier, sabitha was the member of Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy’s Council of Ministers. . Sabitha Indra Reddy has been elected for the third time overall elections from where she is participating. Sabitha Indra Reddy appointment as Home Minister is important because the chief minister Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy looks on her as a younger sister.

Sabitha Indra Reddy Date of Birth is 05-05-1963.Qualification is B.S.C. Now she is Minister for Home, General Police Administration, Jails and Correctional Services, Fire and Emergency Services and Sainik Welfare. She is the first Woman Home minister of Andhra Pradesh.

• Sabitha Indra Reddy entered into politics through bye-elections in 2000 when sri.P.Indra Reddy died in road accident. She was elected as MLA from Chevella constituency.
• In 2004 General Elections also she was Re- elected from the same constituency.
• She was made the Minister for Information Technology, Mines and Infrastructure.
• She was made the Minister for Mines and Geology, Handlooms and Textiles in the Cabinet reshuffle in 2007.
