Life Insurance is the contract between the policy owner and the insurer, where the insurer agrees to pay designated beneficiary a sum of money upon the occurrence of the insured individual’s death or other event such as critical illness or terminal illness. To avail this facility in return the policy owner agrees to pay a stipulated amount at regular intervals or in lump sums. For a life insurance policy the insured event must be based upon the lives of the people named in the policy.

Life Insurance policies are the legal contracts and the terms of the contract describe the policy limitations of the insured events. There is some specific exclusion which is often written into the contract to limit the liability of the insurer. These exclusions vary from one insurance company to other insurance company. For example there are claims relating to suicide death, War, Riot, fraud by the policy holder.  To safe guard from these activities life insurance companies keep some exclusions.

Life insurance policy contracts tend to fall into two major categories- Protection policies and investment policies.  Life insurance can provide coverage for two types of risk – The risk of your dying early and the risk of your living too long.

Life insurance protection policies are designed to provide benefit in the event of specified event, typically designed to pay a lump sum payment. Generally referred as term insurance. Investment Policies are designed with the main objective to facilitate the growth of capital by regular or single premiums, these policies are generally referred as whole life policies. The core benefit of life insurance is to see that the financial interest of one’s family remain protected from circumstances such as loss of income to a family due  to  critical illness or death of the policy holder.

Different life policies have different premium levels and varying coverage. So secure your family’s future by taking the best life insurance policy and provide comfort to your family members during the hard days.
